Jeffrey Lancour

Jeff was born November 9, 1967 in Milwaukee to James and Arlene (Pitkamaki) Lancour and graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1985. He worked for Malton Electric in his younger years, prior to his employment with Cleveland Cliffs as a maintenance mechanic and shovel operator. Jeff married Laura Dishaw on July 7, 2001 and together raised their family in Negaunee.

Just like his Dad, nothing put a smile on his face like a classic car. His passion was working on cars and being a part of the local classic car community, but his true love was his family and being ‘Grandpa’ to his beloved granddaughters.

Surviving are his loving wife, Laura (Dishaw) Lancour; his children: Natasha (Jason) Marietti, Kayti Lancour, Megan (Ken) Hill, Jordyn (Brandon Talus) Snell and Kurtis (Katherine) Snell; three granddaughters: Melanie Lucas, Violet Hill and Katrina Snell; his mother, Arlene; brother, Steve Lancour; and many other relatives and special friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12 Noon until 3:00 PM on Monday, December 8th at Koskey Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow at the Negaunee Elks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in his memory to Sundara Non-Profit Housing in Marquette, 401 Lincoln Ave., Marquette, MI 49855.
