Judith Ann Revord

Judy was born on April 29th, 1943, in Marquette, to Phillip and Audrey (Lockhart) Lillie and was a graduate of Graveraet High School. Following graduation from high school she started work as a switchboard operator at the former St. Mary’s Hospital in Marquette.

Judy then married Ronald Britton and the couple established their home and began raising two children together. In addition to raising her two children, she was also a foster mother for numerous children throughout the years. Judy was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed spending her time with family whenever she could.

She loved to garden, feed the birds and wildlife, and enjoyed being on the beach in search of sea glass. Judy is loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, kind and supportive nature, and her ever present love for family and friends.

Judy is survived by her son, Ronald Scott (Emily) Britton of Marquette; her 5 grandchildren, Tyler Yelle, Sarah (Eric) Sanborn, Hannah (Andrew) Brittaker, Cassie Britton, and Travis Britton; her three great-grandchildren, Ally Jo Yelle, Harper Yelle, and Abel Britton; her mother, Audrey Wahtera; her brother, Phillip (Karen) Lillie of Marquette.

Judy was preceded in death by her father; her first husband and father of her children, Ronald Britton; her daughter, Melissa Yelle and her second husband, Gary Revord.
