Frances Leo “Fran” LaValley
GWINN, MI – Frances Leo “Fran” LaValley, 73, of Gwinn, passed away on Monday morning, November 21st, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice.
Fran was born on March 29th, 1949, in Cleveland, OH, to the late Francis Leo and Virginia (Moran) Sherer.
Fran enjoyed woodworking and watching soap operas. She loved her pets and all animals. Fran was also a member of the Gwinn Merry Mixers.
Fran is survived by her son, Jayson (Rebecca) Dutiel; grandchildren, Alexander and Kendall Dutiel; and two brothers, Tim (Janis) Sherer and Joe (Mary Ann) Sherer.
Besides her parents, Fran was preceded in death by her husband, D.J. LaValley and her brother, George Sherer.
A celebration of Fran’s life will be held on Friday, December 9th, 2022, from 12 until 3 p.m., at Canale Gwinn Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
