Michael Robert Pekuri

Michael was born July 20th, 1957, in Ishpeming, to Robert and Charlotte (Schilling) Pekuri, and graduated from Westwood High School, Class of 1975. He worked many years as a self-employed tree arborist and roofer, both locally and in North Carolina.

In his spare time, Mike enjoyed hunting on the family farm in Champion and fishing. He had a very mechanical mind and was a natural handyman.

Surviving are his two daughters, Crystal (Kevin) Eggert and Brittany Pekuri; one grandson; Aiden Eggert; a brother, Mark (Linda) Pekuri; three sisters: Debbie (Dave) Wiljanen, Arlene Martin, and Joan Schultz; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Freddie Martin.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm, on Thursday, June 30th, at the Humboldt Township Hall, 244 Co. Rd. FAF, Champion, where light refreshments will be provided.
