Daniel Dennis Hautamaki

GREEN BAY, WI – Daniel Dennis Hautamaki, age 52 of Iron Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, in Green Bay, following a lengthy illness.

Daniel was born May 21, 1969, in Marquette, MI, son of Dennis and Barbara Hautamaki. He grew up in Iron Mountain and graduated from Iron Mountain High School. Dan worked various jobs during his life including Culligan Water, Dickinson Homes, Pembine Sports, and Walmart. He loved watching sports, and he played DAHA Hockey and Youth and Adult soccer. He was always willing to help his family out when needed, and he loved playing with his nieces and nephews and was always willing to participate in their games; he had the most infectious laugh and a bright smile.

Dan is survived by his father, Dennis Hautamaki of Eben Jct.; brothers, Jeffery Hautamaki of Iron Mountain, Derrick (Tania) Hautamaki of Quinnesec, and Jeremy (Jessica) Hautamaki of Waupun; nephew, Calab Hautamaki; nieces, Heather (William) Fuller, Caitlyn (Ethan) Hausman, Elyssa (Nick) Salin, Lynea (Brandon) Pietsch, Erin Hautamaki; and great-nephew and niece Kendrick and Lilliana.

Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Hautamaki; sister-in-law, Becky Hautamaki; nephew, Aidan Hautamaki; and grandparents, Arne and Bernice Hautamaki and Julius and Ester Peterson.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 2nd from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, with a service to follow at 11:00 am at the First Covenant Church of Iron Mountain, 125 East H Street Iron Mountain, MI, with Pastor Chad Harrison officiating.
