Rena Ann McEachern

MARQUETTE, MI – Rena Ann McEachern, 83, of Marquette, passed away Tuesday morning, May 18, 2021 at the Norlite Nursing Center.

Rena was born on January 10, 1938, in Marquette, to the late Jerry and Aldea (Thibodeau) Beauchamp.

She was formerly employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Providence Hospital in Oakland, CA, Big Rapids Hospital, the former St. Mary’s Hospital in Marquette and Marquette General Hospital, retiring in 1985, due to illness.

Rena was a member of St. Louis the King Catholic Church in Harvey where she was a devoted member of the church choir for many years. In her free time she enjoyed music, playing cards and watching movies.

Survivors include three sons, Jerry (Rose) Paquet of Marquette, Gary Paquet of Marysville, MI and Brian (Kena) McEachern of Harvey; four grandchildren, Samantha Binns, Dana Paquet, Joshua Johnson and Jessica Johnson; four great-grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was her first husband, Joseph “Bud” Paquet and her second husband, Herbert “Hub” McEachern; also a sister, Donna (Bill) Dushane.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 29th at 11 a.m. at St. Louis the King Catholic Church with Rev. Glenn Theoret officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will take place in the Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Norlite Nursing Center Activity Fund, 701 Homestead, Marquette, MI 49855 in Rena’s memory.
