Annette Jachimski

NEGAUNEE, MI – Annette Marie Jachimski, 85, lifelong Negaunee resident, entered Eternal Life Thursday morning, March 4, 2021, at Brookridge Heights Assisted Living.

Annette was born May 28, 1935, in Ishpeming, to Oliver and Esther (Kangas) Krook and graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1953.

For many years she organized the reunions for the Class of ’53. Aside from being a loving a devoted homemaker, she was employed by Ferrellgas in Negaunee.

Annette was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Negaunee. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards, both bridge and cribbage. She also liked playing BINGO and taking an occasional trip to the casino.

Surviving are her loving husband, Edwin J. Jachimski; her children: Gary (Mary) Koski of Iowa, Steven (Brenda) Koski of Arizona, Christine Koski of Negaunee and Susan (Travis) Tiner of Texas; her sister, Shirley (Jerry) Johnson of L’Anse; eight grandchildren: Jason, Sarah, Adam, Tim (Tracy Hiatt), Andrew (Megan), Chelsea, Austin and Travis, Jr.; her great-grandson, Colton; her first husband, Roy (LaVerne) Koski; sister-in-law, Sue Krook of Green Bay; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Howard Krook.

Memorial services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Spring with the date and time to be announced. The family kindly asks that any memorial considerations be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church or UP Home Health and Hospice.
