Becky Lynn Mettner
MARQUETTE, MI – Becky Lynn Mettner, age 61, of Marquette, MI, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020, at U.P. Health System Marquette, MI.
She was born May 3, 1959, in L’Anse, MI, daughter of Fern (Lundberg) and John “Jack” Mettner. Becky graduated from L’Anse High School in 1977. She worked as a CNA at Winkler’s Nursing Home for a few years, Ojibwa Casino in housekeeping, Norlite Nursing Home as a CNA, and last at the Holiday Inn in Marquette in housekeeping.
Becky was an avid Green Bay Packer, Red Wings, and Nascar fan. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and fishing.

ean) Witz of Skanee, Cindi (Al) Peterson of Skanee; best friend and cousin, Sandy Whaley of L’Anse and cousin Therese Korpi of L’Anse; nephews, Bob (Amanda) Witz, Brian (Kim) Witz, Cole Roy, Cade Roy; niece, Amanda DuFour; great- nephew, Caleb Nygord and great-niece, Alexis Witz.
Preceding her in death are her father, Jack Mettner; mother, Fern Roy; step-father, Clarence “Porky” Roy; and her cats, Dude, Cheetos and Mia.
A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, September 24th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home.
