Michael John Dishno

Mike was born February 8, 1967, in Marquette, the son of Orville and Helen Dishno. He was a graduate of Marquette Senior High School, Class of 1985. Mike was employed by the Arbuckle Truck Driving School as a truck driving instructor.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Sheila (Hensley) Dishno of Claremore, OK; a son, Ryan Bess Dishno of Ishpeming; his parents, Orville and Helen Dishno of Marquette; sister, Deborah Kangas of Green Bay, WI; mother-in-law, Daisy Francis and husband, Robert of Claremore, OK; brother-in-law, Paul Hensley of Claremore, OK; niece, Megan Hunter of Green Bay, WI; aunt and uncle, Irene and Don Dishno of Ishpeming; along with many cousins. We can’t forget his four-legged buddies, Buster and Kiki.

Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orville, Sr. and Margaret Dishno; Katazyna (Katherine) and Lucian Gacka; aunt and uncle, Palagia (Peggy) and Peter Chichocki; and father-in-law, Naylor Hensley.

Friends may call at the Bishop’s Room located at St. Peter Cathedral on Friday, July 24, beginning at 10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the cathedral at 11:00 am with Rev. Msgr. Michael Steber, pastor, as celebrant.

Due to Diocesan regulations during the pandemic, masks are required, social distancing will be practiced, and no reception will be held.
