Mary Margaret ‘Marzy’ Fraley

HALFWAY LOCATION MI, – Mary Margaret “Marzy” Fraley, 75, of Halfway Location, passed away early Monday Morning, July 13, 2020 at U.P. Health System-Marquette after a short illness.

She was born August 19, 1944 in Marquette, a daughter of the late George and Agnes (Swanson) Ten Eyck and was a lifelong area resident.

On March 21, 1964 she married Jerry N. “Jinks” Fraley at Messiah Lutheran Church in Marquette.

Marzy was an accomplished artist, collector of antiques, avid traveler and always had her eye out for the next adventure. She had a keen sense of humor and loved to laugh. Beyond anything else she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband/best friend, Jerry Fraley of Halfway Location; children, Jerry (Margaret Ann) Fraley of Big Bay and Barbara Ann (Russell) Boyer of Skandia; grandchildren, Aimee Fraley, Alex (Jessica) Fraley, Jerry Nelson Boyer, Annie Lynn (Otis) Malmgren and Brenna Ann (Randy) Trepanier; great-grandchildren who were the light of her life, Clayton Malmgren and Abigail June Malmgren; siblings, George (Margaret) Ten Eyck of Cerritos, CA, Patricia A. Harrold of Cohocton, NY, Jeff (Linda) Ten Eyck of Charleston, SC and Peter (Dan) Ten Eyck of Big Bay; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Larry Ten Eyck and Sandra Potter; father & mother-in-law, Clyde & Mildred Fraley.

In accordance with Marzy’s wishes, there will be no services.
