Lillian H. ‘Lil’ Andriacchi

ISHPEMING, MI – Lillian H. “Lil” Andriacchi, age 90, lifelong Ishpeming resident passed away Thursday, July 2nd, 2020, at Marquette County Medical Care Facility from complications after a car accident 2 weeks prior.

Lillian was born in North Lake, Michigan on July 30, 1929, a daughter of the late Clelia (Boz) and Angelo Corradina. She graduated from Ishpeming High School with the class of 1947. She was united in marriage to Frank Andriacchi on May 20, 1950. Lillian was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She worked at Michigan Bell as telephone operator, at the Ishpeming Library, and owned and operated the Venice with her husband for many years.

In her free time, she loved to read and did it often. Lil also loved her plants and flowers and taking care of them. She took great pride in running the Venice alongside her husband. In their retirement years they wintered in Venice, Florida where she loved the sun and spending time with her family.

Lillian is survived by her son, Peter (Debbie) Andriacchi, of Brick, NJ; daughter, Cathy (Scott) Smith of Ishpeming; daughter-in-law, Diane Andriacchi of North Carolina; brother, Robert (Rita) Corradina of Ishpeming; grandchildren, Amy (Frank Ryan) Andriacchi, Lisa (Dennis) Marion, Sara (Mitch) Brennan, Adam Andriacchi, and Alyssa Smith; Great-Grandchildren, Mason and Shae Brennan, Maddie Marion, Ainsley Ryan. Also 2 sister-in-laws, Theresa (Barry) Reinhardt of Marana, AZ and Mary (John) Scheuer of Lee’s Summit, MO

She was preceded in death by her Parents, husband; Frank, son; Dominic Andriacchi, brother; John Corradina and aunt and uncle; Alfredo (Louise) Boz.

Lillian’s family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM on Wednesday July 8, 2020, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with Fr. Ryan Ford to officiate. If attending the service, one should wear a mask and practice social distancing.
