David Mark Rabine

He is survived by his wife, Geri Jo Rabine “Gigi”, step-children: Anthony (Nicole) Metivier, Andrew Metivier, Corey (Alyssa) Clark and Kevin Clark; mother, Beverly (Les) Yon; father, Pete (Mar) Rabine; siblings: Daniel (Mary) Rabine, Diane (Dave) Aho, Denise (Hughes) Rabine, Darlene (Rob) Pinskey, Douglas (Karen) Rabine, Donna (Connley) Rabine, Tonya (General) Brown, Joel Rabine; step-siblings, Kathy, Steven and Larry Cutforth and several step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

David was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Amanda Ray Metivier; grandparents, Alfred and Viola Rabine and Camille and Catherine Verlinde; stepparents, Nancy Rabine and Larry Stelmaszek.

He was an accomplished musician-singer, guitar and harmonica player. David was well known in the Detroit area as well as a member of the Detroit Blues Society.

David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, swimming, fishing, deer hunting, hiking, gardening and a super fan of the Detroit Lions and Tigers.

He was a Senior Mechanical Engineer with SAS Global for 30 years.

A Celebration of David’s life will be determined at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are in care of Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron.
