NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP, MI – Scott Evald Arbelius, 59, of Co. Rd. 510, Negaunee Township, passed away in his sleep early Thursday morning, August 1, 2019 at the family camp on Little Shag Lake.

Scott was born April 29, 1960 in Ishpeming to Leo E. and Alice L. (Peterson) Arbelius, graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1978, and was a lifelong Negaunee resident. Surviving are two step-sons: Daniel Gravelyn of Negaunee Township, Josh (Ella) Gravelyn of Harvey and their children, Carter and Madison; four sisters: Judy Wiig of Negaunee, Sandy (Steve) Sarasin of Marquette, and Kathy and Dawn ‘Beku’ (Tom) Arbelius, both of Palmer; and nieces and nephews: Benjamin Wolfe; Steve, Brian and Kevin Wiig, Kristen (Joe) Dammann; Jason and Chris Sarasin, and Jenny (Kyle) Rundman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kristina (Knight) Arbelius in 2014; and his beloved dog of 19 years, Bailey.

Memorial services will be held at a later date and will be announced by the Koskey Funeral Home.
