REPUBLIC, MI – Charles “Charlie Brown” Boshears, 56, of 6648 Caps Creek Road Republic, MI passed away Thursday, June 27th, as a result of a motorcycle-deer collision.
Charles was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on September 26, 1962, a son of the late Jane “Scotty” (Cunningham) Boshears and Willis “Beaner” Boshears.
He graduated from Republic-Michigamme High School. He worked as an arborist for local tree services companies for most of his life, later worked for Great American Disposal Company and most recently worked as a loadmaster in Norway, MI.
He was a former member of the Michigamme Township Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiling.
He was the husband of Vicki Lynn (Barnett) Boshears of 24 years,
Charles is survived by two sons, Jarred Boshears, and Phillip Boshears, at home, two sisters, Rona (Bob) Cardew, of Champion; Rhonda Boshears, of Champion; a brother, George Boshears, of Michigamme, a step-daughter, Anna Mae Poarch-Harris, of Janesville, WI; Mother-in-law, Vivian Barberi of Republic, sister-in-law, Dee Dee (Donald) DeRoche, 3 step-grandchildren: Cayden, Alannah, Gauge, and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and a sister in law Holly Boshears.
A celebration of Charlie’s life gathering will be held Saturday, July 6th, at 2:00 pm at the Michigamme Township Community Building with a potluck luncheon.
