James Marvin Maki

BROOKSVILLE, FL – James Marvin Maki, 76, of Marquette died on November 13th, 2018, in Brooksville Florida.

James was born on October 17th 1942, to Aake and Impie Maki, in Lanse, Michigan. He enlisted in the Air Force after high school, and returned to Michigan after his service. He was a long time member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, and owned and operated Catch-A-Finn charters prior to his retirement.

James is survived by his brother, Howard Maki (Alston, MI), sister, Karen Larsen (St. Paul, MN) daughter, Stacy Maki-Pauzauski (Redwing, MN), son, Jeff Maki (Mendota Heights, MN), and 5 grandchildren, Ariel, Alexa, Aiden, Franklin and Evelyn.

There will be a celebration of life at Canale Tonella Funeral Home, in Marquette, MI, July 6th, from 2pm – 4pm. We invite all his friends to join us in remembering his life.
