Randy Joe ‘Diesel’ Wiertella

Randy was born August 30, 1974 in Manistique, Michigan, son of Dennis and Lynn (Matchinski) Wiertella. He was the ultimate protector, serving our country for over 14 years in the Army National Guard with several deployments overseas. He had a passion for motorcycles and was well known for it.

Randy is survived by his parents, Dennis and Lynn, both of Newberry; three children Danielle, Dillon and Dallas; brother Andrew (Jennifer) Wiertella. In addition to his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, he is survived by his former wives Brooke Wiertella, Jessie Wiertella and numerous friends who were just as close as family. Randy is preceded in death by his brother Daniel.

Graveside services with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post #290 and the United States Army National Honor Guard with be held Saturday May 18, 2019 at 11:00 am at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Charles Reed officiating.
