Beatrice J. Havican

She was born on December 2, 1932 in Champion, MI; the daughter of the late Edward and Sylvia (Deuell) Duhame. She attended Schools in Champion Michigan.

Beatrice married James J. Havican on June 3, 1950 in Marquette, MI, where the couple made their home until moving to Alvin, WI. They celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary in 2016. James preceded her in death on August 2, 2016.

She was employed as a meat wrapper at National Foods in Kenosha WI. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Marquette, MI and the Butchers Union. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, knitting, and crocheting.

Beatrice is survived by her son, Robert Havican of Alvin, WI; three grandchildren, Brennan Havican, Tori Bates, and Devin Bates; and sister, Jane (Richard) Hendrickson of Racine, WI.

Besides her parents, stepfather, Adolph Hupp, and her husband, Beatrice was preceded in death by her infant son, Joseph Havican; daughter, Joyce Marie Havican; infant granddaughter, Tara; and brother, Clyde Duhame.

Private family services will be held.

Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Alvin, WI.
