Kathryn S. Aalto

Kathryn was born on August 12, 1951 in Wyandotte, MI to the late John and Barbara A. (Molinik) Yonish.

Kathryn moved to the Marquette area at the age of 18 and had been a lifelong area resident since. She enjoyed gardening, horses and riding her tractor. She was also a member of St. Louis the King Catholic Church.

Kathryn is survived by her children, Jason W. (Eliza) Aalto of Peoria, AZ and Ann M. Aalto of Marquette; grandchildren, Emese M. and John J. Aalto and Savannah M. Poole and Sean P. Aalto; siblings, Patricia A. (Jimmy) Hamlet of Romulus, MI, Darlene M. (Donald) LeAnnais of Livonia, MI and Mark J. Yonish of Wayne, MI; also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 17th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at St. Louis the King Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Theoret officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the mass. Burial will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery in the spring.
