Joseph Allen Musolf

Born July 5, 1952, in Marquette, a son of Adalore F. and Hazel M. (Dye) Musolf, Joe was raised in Marquette and graduated from Marquette Senior High School. Following graduation, Joe began a long career with the Coca-Cola Company, beginning in Marquette as a driver for Coke distributor, Elson Bottling Works. He later moved to Minnesota and transferred into the Coke distributorship there as a merchandiser and driver. He was currently employed with Pitney Bowes as a mail truck driver for Best Buy. In his spare time, Joe enjoyed going to the casino, playing board and card games, traveling, gardening, cooking, reading, and in general “puttering around”. However, time spent with family meant the most to him.

Joe is survived by his sisters, Nancy Musolf of Marquette and Sharon Thomas of Tekonsha; a brother, Steve Musolf of Gwinn; sister-in-law, Sally Musolf of Suisun City, CA; and nieces, Kim Weaver, Michelle Deters, Maria Musolf, and Cheryl Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gary Musolf; brother-in-law, Douglas Thomas; and a nephew, Michael Musolf.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services on Thursday, January 17, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, at an informal gathering for the sharing of memories, conversation, coffee and dessert. Interment will be made in the Park Cemetery.
