Donald D. Ombrello
MARQUETTE, MI – Donald Dominic Ombrello, 88, of Marquette, died Friday morning, January 4, 2019, at the Trillium House with his family by his side and under the care of Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice.
He was born September 15, 1930, in Ishpeming, a son of the late Frank J. and Carmella (Tasson) Ombrello and was a lifelong area resident.
On August 14, 1951, he married Laura LeMay at St. John’s Catholic Church in Marquette.
He was employed for many years as a salesperson at Montgomery Wards.
Donald is survived by his wife, Laura Ombrello; daughter, Carmella “Carmen” (Terry) Weigold; grandson, Jeremy Weigold; and three great-grandchildren, Chase, Adrianna & Jocelyn.
Honoring Donald’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
