Donald G. Bachman, Jr.

Don was born in Detroit, the son of Donald and Dorothy (Ellis) Bachman, Sr., and was raised in Ann Arbor. He attended and graduated from the Ann Arbor school system and, following graduation, enlisted in the US Air Force. Following his honorable discharge, Don began a long career working as a sheet metal worker throughout Michigan for the local union. He completed his career with Tecumseh Products in Tecumseh as a fabricator. Don was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed all that nature had to offer. He enjoyed building things and was always in the process of building or tinkering with something.

Don is survived by his wife, Kathy (Haney) Bachman; his two children, Don (Carlene Case) Bachman of Saline and Rob (Alesia) Bachman of Gwinn; four grandchildren, Robert, Hunter, Lily, and Anna Louise Bachman; and his brother, Larry Bachman of Ann Arbor.

Don was preceded in death by his parents.

Honoring family request, private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
