Donald Bruce Rivers

EUGENE, OR – Donald Bruce Rivers passed away under tragic circumstances at his home in Eugene, OR, on Saturday, June 30.

A native of Bremerton, WA, Donny was born June 7, 1982, to Dianne (Mottern) and Bruce Rivers. Siblings Greg and Karla quickly followed and together they enjoyed a wonderful childhood of fun and love, with extra special memories of road trips to Negaunee to visit family.

Donny’s presence was often felt before he even entered a room. His larger than life personality, sense of humor, and smile were infectious to those around him, and his dedication to the people in his life left a lasting impact.

Donny was preceded in death by his first love, Megan Roscoe, maternal grandparents, Donald and Carolyn (Batten) Mottern, Grandpa “Buddy” Batten, paternal Grandpa “Bernie” Rivers and aunt Gina Rivers.

He is survived by his parents and siblings, his Grandma Lillian Rivers, and his love Dawn RaSchell.

He is also survived by his Aunt Paula (Mike) Frustaglio their children Brad and Brian and Uncle David (Gina) Rivers and their children, Randall, Crystal, and Nicole.
