Kristopher A. Tammelin
GWINN. MI – Kristopher A. Tammelin, 35, of Gwinn, died Thursday morning, May 31, 2018 at his home.
He was born January 6, 1983 in Marquette, a son of Allan Tammelin and Dawn Howell. He was a 2001 graduate of Negaunee High School and attended NMU and was a lifelong area resident.
Kristopher was employed as a carpenter. His interests included the spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, but mostly he enjoyed time with his wife and children.
He is survived by his wife, Melba (Behr) Tammelin of Gwinn, whom he married on April 6, 2009; children, Kinslee, Gage & Jack Tammelin, all of Gwinn; step-children, Taylor and Nathan Behr, both of Ontonagon; father, Allan Tammelin of Gwinn; and mother, Dawn Renfors of Negaunee.
A celebration of Kristopher’s life will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 2 to 5 pm at 7398 County Road 550, Marquette, MI 49855.
