AUTRAIN, MI – Robert Allen, age 76, of AuTrain, died unexpectedly at his home following a lengthy illness early Monday evening, May 28, 2018.
He was born to the late Raymond and Margaret (Mitchell) Allen in Detroit on April 23, 1942. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from New Baltimore, Michigan and he and Denise moved to AuTrain.
He is survived by his wife – Denise (Rioux) Allen, their daughter Michelle Allen, siblings Raymond (Terry) Allen, Margaret (Jim) Hartsuck, Bill (Sue) Allen, and Pat (Bonnie) Allen, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Bowerman Funeral Home on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:30 a.m.
