Scott Richards Butler
MARQUETTE, MI – Scott Richards Butler, 56, of Marquette died unexpectedly, December 17, 2017 at his home.
He was born November 29, 1961 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a son of Edward “Jack” Butler and Bonnie Elleby.
Scott was a 1980 graduate of Marquette Senior High School and attended NMU.
He was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing and chainsaw carving. Scott also had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and loved spending time at Presque Isle and near Lake Superior.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Elleby of Champion; brother, Terry Allan Butler of Champion; sisters, Dawn Marie Butler of Negaunee and Alice (Paul) Reynolds of Marquette; three nephews; 5 nieces; several great-nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward “Jack” Butler; loving grandmother, Louise “Weezie” Richards; and brother, Shawn Butler.
There will be no services at this time.
