LA CROSSE, WI — November 21, 1941 – October 22, 2017 – Nancy Siegfried, former resident of Marquette, passed away in La Crosse, WI Sunday. Nancy’s pride and joy was her family but her passion was her dog Harry Potter who kept her young at heart and active until the end of her life.
For anyone who knew her, Nancy was a spitfire in conversation, but a gentle heart and a compassionate ear when needed the most. Her children will miss her greatly and keep with them the memories of Mom laughing and playing with her grandchildren. One of our favorite memories of Grandma include trips to South Beach where she loved to feel the warmth of the sun. Summer was her favorite time of year with countless trips to Frosty Treats followed by cruising in her van down M-28 letting the wind blow in her hair.
Memorial arrangements are being made but will remain private – close family and friends are urged to contact Mary-Ann for details. Nancy is survived by many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and siblings.
She was met in eternal life by her husband, Fred. Mom, Grandma, Nancy – we will miss you and honor you forever.
