Linda L. Juidici

Linda was born November 28, 1951 in Newberry, MI to Eino and Jeanette (Hanson) Nurmi. She graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1969, and married Paul Juidici on August 2, 1969.

Linda worked for many years at Michigan Bell, retiring in 1988 to pursue her dreams of crafting and living at their new home on Bass Lake. In 2010, Paul and Linda became snow birds and purchased a winter home in Mesa, Arizona. They made friends quickly with their new community and participated in many local gatherings. Linda loved everyone she met, and most of all, her beloved grandchildren. Everyone loved her as soon as she flashed that beautiful smile.

Surviving are her husband, Paul Juidici; son, Daniel (Connie) Juidici of Palmer; daughter, Sandra (James) McGovern of Ishpeming; Grandchildren: Jimmy and Jesse McGovern, Mara, Keith, and Maggie Juidici; brothers: Glenn Manty and Gary (Veda) Manty; sisters: Diane (Carl) Piirainen and Gail (Paddy) Palomaki; brother-in-law: Bill Juidici; sisters-in-law: Kathy Fredrickson, Ann Juidici and Dusty Juidici; also a very special uncle, David “Harley” Hanson.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents: Eino Nurmi, Jeanette Manty and Toivo Manty, father – and mother-in- law, Pesto (Flora) Juidici, brothers-in-law: Peter Juidici and Jack Fredrickson.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, July 19th at Grace Lutheran Church in Gwinn with Rev. Rell Spickerman officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends for one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday, and also at a pot luck dinner reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Linda’s memory to Grace Lutheran Church, Gwinn.
