Elizabeth R. “Betty” Stone
MARQUETTE, MI. – Elizabeth R. “Betty” Stone, 93, of Marquette, died on Saturday, July 18, 2015. She was reunited with her parents Herman and Mary Fassbender, her husband Raymond Stone, her son Gordon Stone and her brother John Fassbender.
The greatest joy in Betty’s life was her family, and she will be dearly missed by her daughter, Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Birchfield (Douglas); grandson, Jay Birchfield (Michelle); great granddaughter, Olivia Birchfield; daughter-in-law, Deborah Stone; brother, Edward Fassbender; sister, Lois Burns; and friend and caregiver, Kim Spencer.
In accordance with Betty’s wishes, there will be no services. The Canale-Tonella Funeral Home is assisting the family where memories may be shared at canalefuneralhome.com.

MARQUETTE – Elizabeth R. “Betty” Stone, 93, of Marquette, died early Saturday morning at her home in the loving presence of her daughter and son-in-law, and under the care of U.P. Home Health and Hospice.
