Lisa was born April 3, 1962 in Escanaba to Paul and Carolyn (Brown) Keranen, grew up as a young girl downstate in Pinckney, MI until her family relocated to the family homestead in Pelkie. She graduated from Baraga High School, Class of 1980. Lisa married Tim Roth on November 19, 1983 in Yale, MI, and they moved to Ishpeming in 1984. She was a member of the Negaunee Elks Lodge.

Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Tim Roth; 2 sisters: Toretha Darrow of Owosso, MI and Juanita (Val) Washburn of New Baltimore, MI; a brother, Richard (Debbie) Gere of Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Roddy Keranen.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, and will be announced by the Koskey Funeral Home.
