Barbara Maki

LAKE LINDEN, MI. – Barbara Maki, 68, a resident of Lake Linden passed away at her home on Tuesday April 9, 2013.

She was born on June 2, 1944 in Detroit a daughter of the late Lyle and Eleanore (Schroeder) Radcliffe.

She attended Denby High School in Detroit and graduated from Brimley High School in 1962.

On June 3, 1978 she was married to Sulo Maki. They lived in Harvey for 20 years until moving to South Range and since 2004 they have lived in Lake Linden.

Barbara worked as waitress over the years in different restaurants.

She was a talented artist producing many beautiful oil paintings. She also enjoyed gardening, camping, reading and feeding the birds.

Surviving are: Her Husband Sulo, Step Sons: Ed Osborn of Lake Linden and Robert (Angela) Osborn of Apache Junction, AZ. Grandson: Phoenix. Brother: Bob (Carole) Radcliffe of New Mexico. Sister: Carol Radcliffe of Florida. Special niece and caregiver: Marilyn Noble of Escanaba. Numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday April 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home in Calumet with Pastor David Weber to officiate.

Friends may call at the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home in Calumet on Sunday from 1-2 PM.

Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek.
