Senior center trip space available

NEGAUNEE – The Negaunee Senior Center has seats available on two upcoming trips, which serve as major fundraisers for senior services in the Negaunee area.

The Shades of Ireland and Northern Ireland tour is set for Oct. 22 through Nov. 3. Cost starts at $4,199, and includes airfare, lodging, bus fares, 17 meals and admission to the sites visited on the trip, both in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The tour is 13 days long, and includes 17 meals, airfare, bus transportation and stops in Blarney, Waterford, Ring of Kerry, Limerick, Cliffs of Moher, Galway, Donegal, Belleek, Derry, Inishowen Peninsula, Giant’s Causeway, Glens of Antrim, Belfast, Kingcourt, Dublin and more.

Travelers will see the Blarney Stone, stop at the Waterford Crystal factory, journey to the awe-inspiring Cliffs of Moher, tour cathedrals and castles and top it all off with overnight castle stays.

Optional additions include a Medieval Banquet in Limerick and a tour of The Guinness Storehouse and O’Connell’s of Donneybrook.

The Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills trip sign up is open to the public, and a dozen seats remain.

The trip, set for Sept. 19- 27, will include transportation from the senior center, lodging with four consecutive nights in South Dakota, 14 meals and visits to parks and attractions.

Stops include Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Badlands National Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, Journey Museum and Wildlife Loop Road at Custer State Park. In addition, it will include a guided tour of Deadwood, plus gaming at the Deadwood Casino. Cost starts at $729.
