The UP North Knitting Guild held its first meeting of the season Sept. 16 at the Peter White Public Library with 20 members attending. During the Show and Tell segment several members displayed their summer work and three members had entered their items in the county and/or the state fairs. Shown from the left in the photo are Rosemary Michelin, Shirley Timberman and Maryann Theis, who each entered items in either the Marquette County and/or Michigan State Fairs, successfully earning ribbons.
