ISHPEMING — With January being School Board Recognition Month, the Ishpeming Public School District thanked the community volunteers for their “untiring dedication to public education.

IPS noted that school board members help develop policies and make though decisions that assist in shaping the future of the education system.

Members recognized were: Gwen Bruhnke, Timothy Hares, Darin Hooper, Scott Lyman, Robert Nadeau, Tina Romback and Joseph Routhier.
