The Literacy Legacy Fund recently granted the Marquette Regional History Center $2,000 to help digitize the Longyear Collection. This digitization project involves scanning documents and photos and writing metadata about the digitized images that will continue into 2020. The mission of LLF Michigan, headquartered in Marquette, is to promote a literate Michigan citizenry of all ages.
