Future Historians program held

This summer, more than 40 youth from the Michigan Iron Industry Museum’s Future Historians program brought history to life at Copper Harbor’s historic Fort Wilkins. Every year, volunteers from the group learn about life in the 19th century, including etiquette, chores and pioneer pastimes, then travel to Copper Harbor to portray children who lived at or near the 1870 army post.
