Marquette Breakfast Rotary recently presented grants to local organizations with funds raised at its annual fish boil. Included at the presentation are Jayne Letts of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Heather Stipletoe of Peter White Public Library, Nheena Weyer Ittner of the U.P. Children’s Museum, Cindy Asher of Care Clinic, Diane Betts of the Marquette Women’s Center/Harbor House, Marnie Foucault of 8-18 Media and Marquette Breakfast Rotary member Bob Stephenson. First held in 1992, the fish boil has raised more than $300,000 that have distributed back to the community in support of the club’s mission to assist non-profit organizations and foundations foster the development of youth.
