The Upper Peninsula Luge Club recently received $2,000 check from the Marquette County Community Foundation, including $1,000 from the foundation and $1,000 from the Marquette County Youth Advisory Council. The funds helped the Luge Club to ice its track to the top of Lucy Hill in Negaunee for the first time in more than a decade in preparation for the Natural Track Luge World Cup at Lucy Hill and Marquette Mountain in January.
