Representatives from the Marquette Downtown Development Authority recently presented a check for $1,321 to the Marquette Women’s Center. At the presentation are, from left: Downtown Marquette Farmers Market master Myra Zyburt, DDA assistant director Becky Salmon, DDA events and promotions coordinator Tara Laase-McKinney, Women’s Center Board Treasure Rosa Diddams,Women’s Center Board President Martha Parks, Women’s Center advocate Cindi Depetro,Women’s Center finance manager Bob Kraus, Women’s Center Board Vice-President Karlyn Rapport, Women’s Center sexual assault advocate Kelly Laakso, and Women’s Center sexual violence advocate Diane Betts. The money was raised from donations for passport purchases at Ladies Night in Downtown Marquette.
