Dickinson reports COVID-19 death for 2nd straight week

For a second straight week, Dickinson County has reported a new death attributed to COVID-19, according to local health data.

Dickinson County also had 46 new confirmed positives since Nov. 17, six fewer cases than the previous week, according to figures posted Tuesday on the Dickinson-Iron District Health Department’s Facebook page. Iron County had 10 new confirmed cases, one more than the week before.

The DIDHD reclassified 31 people in Dickinson County and four in Iron County as recovered from the virus.

The DIDHD on Tuesday had Dickinson County at 6,015 confirmed positives and 3,055 probable cases to date, with 8,624 recovered, 122 deaths and 324 cases still active. For Iron County, the agency had 3,012 confirmed cases to date and 414 probables, with 3,249 recovered, 98 deaths and 79 active cases. The deaths include confirmed and probable.
