BESSEMER — Police continue to search for a white male inmate missing from the Gogebic County Jail in Bessemer, who was last seen at about 8:50 p.m. Monday, according to a release from the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office.

Daniel Gerald Ferguson, 26, is 6-feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has hazel eyes and blond hair. Additional identifying characteristics include tattoos on his neck, chest and upper arms, and his left hand.

He was last seen barefoot, wearing white and black striped pants and an orange T-shirt. Police said he was headed north on Moore Street in Bessemer. He was serving time in jail for charges related to operating while intoxicated and felony probation violation warrants from Wisconsin, the release said.
