Temperatures: The average temperature Monday at the National Weather Service office in Negaunee Township was 59 degrees,7 degrees below normal. The high Monday was 78 degrees and the overnight low was 40 degrees, which tied the record low for the date set previously in 1971 and matched in 1979.
