LANSING (AP) — A former police officer has pleaded no contest to charges that he attempted to kiss and molest three girls at a Lansing high school and in his patrol vehicle.

Matthew Priebe will be sentenced in October on criminal sexual conduct, assault and battery and other charges. Priebe was jailed Monday following his plea. A no-contest plea isn’t an admission of guilt but is treated as such at sentencing.

Priebe was a resource officer with Lansing schools. The victims were between 14 and 17 at the time of the assaults which took place over a three-year period. He resigned in June after 10 years with the Lansing Police Department.
