MUNISING — The Alger County March of Dimes campaign gained another $255.50 at the annual “Night of Bands” in the Forest Inn near here Wednesday night. The amount contributed to the campaign now stands at $3,591.68, according to Hub Perrault, drive chairman. Three local bands and a fourth from Marquette played dance music for the affair, termed a “grand success” by Perrault — largely through the efforts of Al Brown, pantomimist. Brown will be in Munising Saturday night on the occasion of “Hub’s Night.” This affair will be held at the Corktown Bar and also will be a March of Dimes benefit.
