‘Folksy’ program coming up at PWPL

MARQUETTE — Folksy words and music are coming once again to the Peter White Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10 for the North Words and Music Christmas Sounds show. The special guest star will be one man musical extravaganza, Whiskey Ryan, and all of the regulars including the old story teller, and author of the upcoming “North Words: A Year in Poetry”, B.G. Bradley, two time Upper Peninsula poet laureate and author of the recent release, “A Bigfoot Beastiary and Other Wonders”, Marty Achatz, our favorite actress Jacque Love, and our house band, Big Lake Acoustic, featuring singers/songwriters extraordinaire, Linda Smith, and Seamus Collins.

Jim Edwards of Marquette Children’s Museum and the voice of Public Radio 90 News, Nicole Walton, will also be there.
