May 27

≤ 5:39 p.m., caller to dispatch is being followed by a subject who is out of bond for a domestic violence case against mother, caller has the mother’s kids and the subject is refusing to stop following them, mother is not with caller, caller stopped at police department and the subject continued driving by, suspect was stopped by officers, officers spoke with both parties, advice given to both parties to try to fix the issue, 300 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 6:41 p.m., warrant arrest, three-count warrant, suspect is unable to post the required bond, 300 block Center Street

≤ 7:00 p.m., property damage accident, Presque Isle Avenue near Wright Street

≤ 7:38 p.m., public domestic assault, caller states she was assaulted by her roommate,100 block West Arch Street

≤ 7:44 p.m., caller has damage to her car; possibly damage by contractors working in the area, damage to front bumper by something scraping across the front of the vehicle while parked in her parking spot, 1900 clock Longyear Avenue

≤ 8:00 p.m., caller reported some type of commotion, caller now states they hear crying, verbal argument between two parties, problem solved for the evening. 1900 block Freedom Drive.

≤ 8:23 p.m., property inspection, County Road 550

≤ 8:48 p.m., caller reports that her purse was stolen from her house, officer was able to determine that several juveniles in the local neighborhood had gone into the residence and took the purse, juveniles and purse were located, owner did not wish to pursue charges on juveniles since everything was returned, 8 block Preserve Drive.

≤ 9:30 p.m., warrant arrest, Founders Landing

≤ 10:15 p.m., camp fire on the beach, four individuals, Founders Landing

≤ 10:36 p.m., subject in possession of prescription pills he did not have a prescription for, 200 block West Baraga Avenue

May 28

≤ 12:16 a.m., traffic problem, power was out in South Marquette due to traffic accident just outside the city limits, power was out to the traffic light at the intersection. traffic control assistance given, McClellan Avenue

≤ 1:08 p.m., property inspection, County Road 550

≤ 1:53 a.m., traffic stop, minor in possession, U.S. 41 South Near Prison

≤ 7:37 a.m., property inspection, 1200 block West Fair Avenue

≤ 8:10 a.m., property inspection, 1200 Tierney Street

≤ 9:06 a.m., disorderly conduct, male subject yelling and swearing at subjects who are trying to move out, 200 block Whetstone Road

≤ 9:12 a.m., property inspection, County Road 550 near Dead River Bridge

≤ 9:42 a.m., malicious destruction of property to a city sign, 400 block Coast Guard Road

≤ 10:11 a.m., liquor violation, open intox, 400 block West Washington Street

≤ 11:06 a.m., fingerprints, 300 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 11:25 a.m., property inspection, 1200 block South McClellan

≤ 11:40 a.m., fingerprints, 300 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 11:42 a.m., property inspection, 1200 block Tierney Street

≤ 12:14 p.m., property inspection, 1100 block Erie Avenue

≤ 1:00 p.m., credit card fraud, 300 block North Fourth Street

≤ 1:13 p.m., subject cleaning out his grandfather’s outdoor shed located a possible stick of dynamite; turned out to be a flare, 1100 block High Street

≤ 1:18 p.m., disorderly subject, throwing things inside apartment, subject calmed down and staff is going to keep an eye on her, assisted by other agency, 300 block Pine Street

≤1:43 p.m., obstructing justice, warrants authorized, 300 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 1:49 p.m., complainant left her wallet in the bathroom and it was stolen, video surveillance was captured with possible suspects, follow-up to be conducted, 1400 block O’Dovero Drive

≤ 1:58 p.m., property inspection, 400 block North Sixth Street

≤ 2:10 p.m., trespass violation, lodged, 400 block West Washington Street

≤ 2:10 p.m., traffic control, no issues, 1200 block West Fair Avenue

≤ 2:16 p.m., 911 hang-up, all O.K., pocket dial from teacher, 1200 block West Fair Avenue

≤ 2:27 p.m., subject reporting suspicious/harassing phone calls, 400 block West Washington Street

≤ 3:04 p.m., additional vehicle stopped in front of driver, damage to trailer occurred when stopping, damage was fixed on scene, no crash occurred, M-553 near Division Street
