April 29

≤ 12:18 p.m., private property accident, between two employees, looking for advice. Will be handled without police, 500 block West College Avenue

≤ 12:24 p.m., Dog on Presque Isle Island. Animal control officer advised them of the ordinance and had the dog removed, Presque Isle Park.

≤ 1:29 p.m., report of two homeless subjects having intercourse, 400 West Washington Street

≤ 2:07 p.m., other agency warrant arrest, 400 block West Washington Street

≤ 2:19 p.m., private parking complaint, 400 North Third Street

≤ 2:30 p.m., school check, Bothwell Middle School

≤ 2:40 p.m., crossing guard duty, 1200 block Tierney Street

≤ 3:22 p.m., complainant advised he lost a $100.00 bill in a bank envelope biking up Third Street provided contact information if found, North Third Street

≤ 3:49 p.m., report of a unlawful driving away of automobile. Complainant does not want to pursue charges and will advise when the car returns. Michigan State Police Negaunee post advised that the car and grandson were located; the car was returned to her and grandson is being transported to UPHS for an evaluation.

≤ 3:53 p.m., report of possible domestic violence. Nothing physical, all verbal.

≤ 4:10 p.m., vehicle boot, vehicle owner paid the full amount of the fines owed, boot removed, 100 block West Bluff Street Alley

≤ 5:21 p.m., property check, 1900 block Freedom Drive

≤ 6 p.m., traffic detail, U.S. 41

≤ 7 p.m., traffic detail, Grove Street

≤ 7:13 p.m., property inspection, 1700 Presque Isle Avenue

≤ 7:27 p.m., property inspection, 100 block South Third Street

≤ 7:36 p.m., property inspection, 100 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 7:51 p.m., property inspection, Moosewood Nature Center

≤ 8:37 p.m., property inspection, Mattson Park Lower Harbor

≤ 12:12 a.m, loud subjects around an outside fire in yard. Officers made contact and subjects were cooperative to end the gathering and go in for the evening, 2000 block Wilkinson Avenue

≤ 12:45 a.m., property inspection, 1000 block North Third Street

≤ 1 a.m., property inspection, 550 Dead River Bridge

≤ 1:42 a.m., property inspection, South Marquette Schools

≤ 4:30 a.m., property inspection, 1400 block West Washington Street

≤ 4:42 a.m., property inspection, North Schools

≤ 7:40 a.m., property inspection, 1200 block West Fair Avenue

≤ 8 a.m., traffic, U.S. 41 traffic enforcement, U.S. 41 South

≤ 8:23 a.m., alarm, officers were called off per alarm company, 300 block West Washington Street

≤ 9 a.m., juvenile, minor in possession, 1st vape, 1200 block Tierney Street

≤ 9:48 a.m., property inspection, property check on the bike path, ongoing parking complaints of construction vehicles parked on the bike path, Lakeshore Boulevard near Baraga Avenue

≤ 10:01 a.m., mental, 500 block West College Avenue

≤ 10:30 a.m., juvenile, well-being check, 1200 block South McClellan Avenue

≤ 10:39 a.m., general, vehicle assistance, 600 block West Hampton Street

≤ 10:47 a.m., property inspection, walkthrough, 500 block South Fourth Street

≤ 10:48 a.m., traffic, crossing guard, South Fourth Street near Fisher Street

≤ 10:58 a.m., lost and found, NMU officer had found street signs from a student that claims the signs were approximately 10 years old, signs were turned over to Department of Public Works, Wright Street and Lot 9

≤ 11:29 a.m., general, fire drill, 600 block North Front Street

≤ 11:30 a.m., property inspection, 400 block North Sixth Street

≤ 12 p.m., traffic, crossing guard assistance, Pine Street and Hewitt Avenue

≤ 12:45 p.m., parking, truck with trailer parked too close to intersection, gone on arrival, East Magnetic Street near High Street
