A group of Marquette residents will be hosting a community “free table” at Harlow Park, by the corner of Washington and Seventh streets in Marquette from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

They will be accepting donations of food, household supplies, hygiene products, clean clothes, and other quality goods, organizers said in an announcement.

Furniture, electronics, and items “that are unclean and/or of poor quality will not be accepted,” the announcement states.

“All are welcome to give as they can and to take what they need. No questions will be asked of recipients, for we all have our own struggles,” organizers said. “This is a peer-to-peer initiative and has no means-testing or other requirements.”

Items that remain after 2 p.m. will be donated to relevant local organizations.
