Summit is seeking speakers

MARQUETTE — The U.P. Home Buyers Summit, a free virtual conference for Upper Peninsula home buyers and sellers, is seeking speakers who are experts on the U.P. residential real estate market and can speak with authority on topics of interest to Upper Peninsula home buyers and sellers.

The early bird deadline for speakers is March 19; the regular application deadline is March 29.

The U.P. Home Buyers Summit is a one-day virtual event that will take place online on Saturday, April 17. Free sessions take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, followed by a special VIP evening for paid participants.

Three sponsorship levels are also available for U.P. Business sponsors will be given booth space at a virtual business expo where attendees can learn about local real estate-related businesses and speak directly with vendors. Sponsor deadlines are also March 19 for early bird and March 29 for regular registration.

Event organizers, UP Home Inspection, LLC owner Rich Beasley and his wife, Ona Martin, owner of the marketing firm Green Ink Consulting, LLC, are creating the event to help connect U.P. home buyers and sellers with local professionals who can help them get a better deal, avoid challenges, and/or improve the home sale experience for buyers, sellers, and vendors alike.

Beasley and Martin are involving a third business, LiveTheUP.com, in the project as host sponsor of the event. LiveTheUP is a Yooper lifestyle website that is best known for its trail maps of the U.P.
