Marquette City Commission to meet virtually Monday

MARQUETTE — Due to directives from the state of Michigan, the Monday Marquette City Commission meeting will be held virtually without the public in physical attendance. The public is invited to view and participate in the meeting electronically.

The meeting will be streamed on YouTube and Channel 191 starting at 6 p.m. The YouTube channel can be found at: www.youtube.com/user/CityofMarquetteGov.

Officials ask participants to note that the livestreams may have at least a 20-second delay.

Public participation: There will be two options for public participation in the meetings, phone conferencing or written comment. There will be two public comment periods during each meeting, one at the beginning and one at the end. Comments will be limited to three minutes and speakers must give their name and address.

Written comments will be limited to 500 words.

Written comments can be submitted directly to shobbins@marquettemi.gov, written submissions will be accepted until noon Monday.
