GoFundMe open for Hunter Laakso
ISHPEMING — A GoFundMe fundraiser is underway for Hunter Laakso, who was hit by a truck on Sept. 26 while walking home along U.S. 41 in Ely Township.
Laakso is undergoing occupational and physical therapy following being hospitalized for extensive injuries.
As of Thursday, $10,786 had been reached toward the $25,000 goal.
